[The Lost Lake]

Well-thought-out

loved the reversal sequence with the soldier in the trenches.
The whole thing was really powerful and made you think.
Funny, isn't it, that the only thing certain about this life is death, and it's the one thing people just refuse to think about. Except people like you, who can even make a movie about it. Good job, and keep making stuff like this!

Probably one of the best on NG

I like the James 1:4 on the loading screen. Very witty.
I haven't seen the movie that preceded this one, but this was amazing. I really liked the animation as well, especially towards the end. Though I am a Muslim, I thoroughly enjoyed the sequence where he found his faith. I think people can appreciate stories of people converting to other faiths than their own and be just as faithful to their religion, if not more.

a ten and a five for you!

brilliant voice-acting, above all. Only thing is i found the prose, while humorous, was a bit excessive. Toning down the modifiers and adjectives and going straight for what you mean would help its flow. I understand the feel was supposed to be rambling and droll, but it was just a bit much. Great job regardless!

havn't had one of those in a while
a game that makes you think! Yes!
and conveniently leaving out the instructions makes it all the more difficult.
i'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but...

kind of grows on you...

the vocals, i mean. the fact that the guitar playing is great goes without saying.

But it's clear you used some sort of chorus generator, because it definitely sounds like there's more than one of you. i think that this killed the vocals, more than anything. It sounds like the guitar part and the vocals are separated, detached. Your vocals actually aren't all that horrible, if you listen closely -- the accent just makes it a bit unclear.

But in a way, your irish accent (which is what i think it is, sorry not too sure) actually makes the vocals all right, because it goes well with the sort of of laid-back, country feel of the guitar. It makes me think of all the crew singing with a hired professional guitarist. They're singing just because it gives them hope and othersuch good feelings, and he is just really good and solid with the guitar.

Not so bad.

love the percussion

everything was awesome, except the key change was a bit abrupt.
I'm not sure if that was the intention. The very last chord was a little odd.
But I've a soft spot for Celtic music, and this is definitely under-rated.
Pretty simple, as far as the actual melody, but it's got a nice feel.
And the percussion was just beast.

...well, you gave Basshunter credit, that's the only reason I'm not so mad. Just come up with some original stuff sometime soon, once you get the feel for FL.

Also, where'd the really high sine-like synth go? That's my fav part in the song, if you're talking about "Dota".
